Collection of website usage data

The Editione website uses cookies to collect visitors' data automatically. This information includes, but is not limited to, acceptance of our Privacy Policy, the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your device, the time and date of your visit, the time spent viewing each of the pages visited, and basic details about the browser you used.

Collection of personal data

When you fill out any form on the Editione website in order to ask a question, request a quotation or sign up for a service, you will be asked to submit some personal data and, possibly, confidential documents. This information includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, telephone/mobile number, professional affiliation, postal address and the complete manuscript to be edited.

How we use the collected date

Website usage data enables our webmaster to monitor the use of the Editione website and thus maintain and improve the information we make available to potential customers. The personal data and confidential documents you submit allow Editione to communicate with you, provide you with the information you request and perform any of the services you have contracted.

Retention of collected date

Editione retains copies of manuscripts, and any other documents submitted to us when a quotation was requested, for a period of four months from the date of delivery of our quotation. After this period, material relating to any non-contracted services will be permanently removed from our files. Material relating to contracted services will be stored in our database until the client communicates the final outcome (accepted/rejected/withdrawn) of the manuscript.

Disclosure of collected date

Editione guarantees not to disclose any information (personal or otherwise) about our customers to third parties without formal permission. The Editione database may, however, be used by us to inform customers or potential customers about new services and/or promotions.

Security of collected date

All personal information and documents pertaining to a client are treated by Editione with absolute confidentiality and are stored under conditions of strict security. Access to the Editione database is restricted to senior company administrators.

Links to third-party sites

Pages of the Editione website may contain active "links" to other sites that are not operated by us and for which we have no responsibility. It is strongly recommended that you check the Privacy Policy of every website you visit.
